At Garderie Petit Baobab, we believe that caring for children starts with caring for the people who guide them every day. Our educators are not only teachers and caregivers, they are professionals, leaders, and role models who shape the daily experiences of every child in our centre. That’s why we invest in their growth, confidence, and collaboration: when our team is strong, our children and families benefit directly.

Recently, our leadership team hosted a special Team Building Workshop led by facilitators Stephan Dyer and Juan D Cajiao a bilingual session designed to build trust, spark creativity, and encourage shared learning.

Through a series of lively improv-based activities in both English and French, our 24 educators and caregivers laughed, learned, and discovered new ways to support one another. While the workshop was filled with fun and energy, it was also a powerful professional development opportunity. By the end of the session, our team walked away with:

– Tools to give and receive feedback openly and constructively
– A deeper understanding that trust is built through authenticity, not perfection
– Practical strategies to take ownership of their classrooms as leaders

Most importantly, the experience left us with a stronger sense of connection and the confidence to lead with creativity, compassion, and openness.
